Robert F. Niesner
As President of Legacy Construction and Development, Robert F. Niesner brings over 35 years of building experience to the company. After studying at the University of Southern California, Robert formed his first construction company in February of 1979, specializing in the building and remodeling of high-end homes. In an effort to service all aspects of the construction industry, he continued to develop and expand the company’s portfolio of experience by adding multi-family housing, tract home development, commercial and industrial complexes, medical, food service and educational facilities, even historical restorations and complex earthquake retrofitting to an already impressive list of accomplishments.
With hundreds of successful projects to his credit, in all types of construction, Robert is proud to have had two projects profiled in Luxury Homes Magazine and Interiors Magazine. One of these projects won the prestigious Gold Nugget Merit Award from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference for “Best Custom Home over 4,500 square feet.”
As a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California, Robert also assists many Legacy clients with the purchase, sale, development and management of properties located throughout Southern California.
In an effort to give back to his community, Robert serves on the Board for Habitat for Humanity and is Chairman of the Habitat ReStore. He is proud to assist and work with many other dedicated employees, staff and fellow Board Members to build affordable housing for low income families and U.S. Veterans.
Administratively strong with an eye for detail and a strong fiduciary commitment to his clients, Robert is able to stand out and excel in this very competitive industry. In the late 1990s, Robert combined his talent and experience with that of his long time friend, business associate and fellow General Contractor, Ronald Buccieri, to build Legacy Construction and Development into the successful firm that it is today.
Ron Buccieri’s in-depth experience in the construction field extends over a 30 year period and has taken him through many areas of expertise. As Vice President of Legacy Construction & Development, he brings a strong background in estimating, field management, subcontractor coordination and client interaction. Having worked in the field for the first 10 years as a framer and finish carpenter, and later working as a project superintendent, he acquired his strong ability to balance the field and office management which is of major importance to the success of any project.
In 1987, Ron acquired his California B-1 General Contractors License and pursued a lucrative career in custom home building and residential remodeling under the name of Pacific West Custom Builders. His company specialized in new custom home construction, residential renovations and additions, tenant improvements, as well as very detailed earthquake retrofitting.
Having attended California State University Northridge as a business major, he prides himself at bringing his academic knowledge and skills into good use in a field that often times only focuses on the achievements of skilled tradesmen.
After working in association with Robert Niesner for several years on many high profile projects, it became apparent that merging their talents would only serve to further their shared interest in being one of Southern California’s most respected builders.
